Earlier in April 2017 you probably heard that we had launched a hard copy petition to protest Bill C-47, the bill that can create a backdoor gun registry. There are a few updates that we need to share with you, the biggest being that it's fully sponsored by a sitting Member of Parliament.

That's right, these are official Parliamentary petitions that are sponsored by a sitting MP. We have gone one step further and created and launched both a hard copy petition and a Parliamentary E-Petition to give the greatest coverage for people that may not have access to a printer. The hard copy petition and link to the e-petition are below, we're hoping to make you read some instructions on how to present the petitions first.
Please note that both petitions need attention. While it may be easier to sign a e-petition, the hard copy petition needs to be spread and signed as well. If you don't have access to a printer, bring the hard copy to your local gun store and get them to print it out and leave a few copies with them to gather signatures. Even if you do have a printer, get it to your local gun store and get them to gather signatures. Both petitions need as many unique and legitimate signatures as possible.
The instructions on how to properly present the hard copy petition are;
- Print it on paper of 21.5 cm x 28 cm (8.5 x 11 inches) in size.
- DO NOT alter or cross out any of the wording.
- Return your petitions to us NO LATER than September 8th, 2017.
Return the petition to;
PO Box 10078 RPO Hart
Prince George, BC
Please SHARE THIS article everywhere you can in social media, forums, via email, and wherever it can draw attention. Also print out the hard copy and see if your local range and gun stores are willing to gather signatures, and if they are let them know where to find this article and e-petition link. It is very important that we get as many signatures as possible for both petitions so that we can voice our opposition to this Bill which has the power to create a back door gun registry.
These are both legitimate petitions that are formatted to the rules of the Parliament of Canada and are sponsored by a sitting MP. Unlike other sites and petitions that require your electronic information such as email, which are usually data mining fronts, the hard copy is a legitimate petition that simply requires you to print, gather signatures, and send it back to us in a hard copy. We're not mining your data with this petition. If you would like to share your email with us and sign up to our newsletter then fill out the name and email fields below to stay up to date with important news such as this petition and Bill C-47, but it's not required to sign up to our newsletter to participate in this petition.
We can't guarantee what is done with your electronic information with the e-petition, but there are some rules surrounding the use and handling of the information within Parliament.
Spread the word, gather as many signatures as you can, and best of luck to us all. The hard copy petition is found below in a scroll able frame, it's in PDF format and can be printed via the tools in that frame. This hard copy petition has undergone a slight revision, so please spread this new petition in place of the previous one that we were hosting.
Having issues seeing the PDF above this line for some reason? Download it here and print out as many copies as you need.
