Here's a list of Canadian businesses that still have AR-15 for sale. You have very little time left to act before the rumoured announcement that may prohibit the AR-15 and variants.
Why would you want to buy an AR-15? In case you didn't know it's rumoured that there will be an announcement of prohibition by the Government between June 3rd to June 6th. If you have a restricted AR in your name you might stand a chance of being grandfathered into a prohibited designation on your license. Caveat if you're a first time buyer. The lower is the registered component. If you buy an upper thinking it'll get you a registered rifle, it will not work. Buy a lower, or a full rifle only.
S&J Hardware. At the time of publication they still have 43 AR-15 that are under $1000. They have one consignment custom Stag Arms for $1999.
Wolverine Supplies. Still stock of AR-15 under $1000. Lots of variants, which may or may not fall under the ban, who the hell knows but you can roll the dice if you'd like. The best prices on Daniel Defense in Canada that we've seen outside of when our dollar was on par with USD. You remember when our dollar was on par? Pepperidge farm remembers.
Wanstalls. Pickings are getting slim here, but they still have a few models under $1000.
Nordic Marksman. Nordic has made a reputation for finding unique Colt Canada (Diemaco) items, and even now they don't disappoint. There's a stripped down Colt US LE6920 for under $1000. Which lets be honest, they're just saving you the time to strip off all the manufacturers parts and add your high speed low drag gear on it anyway. Time's money, making this deal all that much better.
Select Shooting Supplies. Their website is hard to navigate and kind of a pain in the ass to direct you to a category to browse (you reading this Select?). But on inspection they still have some S&W M&P Sport II for $899.95. There's also some gems in there like Knights Armament. They also have a sub $500 way into the variant class with the M&P 15-22. Government says it's an AR-15 now and restrict it, so logically it should get you into the prohib class, but it is what they say it is on a given day so this may be a gamble. Use the search function and save yourself some time navigating.
Elwood Epps. Butt load of Bushmaster XM-15's left for under $800.
Canadian Tactical Cowboy Supplies. They have probably one of the only lowers left on the market, caveat is that it comes with an upper. The Mega Arms upper/lower combo for $699. I can hear you now, too buku, but keep in mind that CTCS are good people and support the AR market with specialty products. Order from them and make sure they're not sitting on dead stock, and you get your AR build started for under $800, win win.
Armtac. Stripped lower alert for under $400! There probably doesn't need to have more of a description than that, but we get paid by the word around here (or do we?).
Questar. Stripped lower for $419.99 that we'll just leave the link to. They also have full AR's for sale, just be careful with this site and make sure to read the stock description so you're not buying into a item they need to order.
Reliable Gun. Still has product starting at $750 and up from there.
Arms East. The distributor for Stag Arms. They have a few models left starting at $1500. Is Stag worth the $1500 price tag you ask. Yes, yes they are.
Bullseye London. These guys can't keep stock on hand, it's selling so fast at their prices. Good news is they have stock displayed on the site. With their DPMS Panther starting at 619.99 and other rifles going up in price from there this is one of the best prices right now that isn't Chicom.
Canada Ammo. They have a few NEA rifles left. Love them or hate them, you wanna know what we like about NEA; they're a registered AR in your name.
SFRC. AR's are slim pickings here by the looks of things, but there's still a SIG RM400 Hunter available for $1250.
Tenda Canada. Probably the only place you're going to find a Colt SA15.7 right now (hey Tenda do we get a discount for this plug, major Diemaco fanboys over here). Good amount of stock at the $650 range including S&W, DPMS, and Norinco. For the first timer wondering what to buy go with S&W or DPMS first, then if all else fails at least Norinco gets an AR registered in your name.
P&D Enterprises. Some stock at the $1000 mark, S&W M&P15 Sport II.
Alberta Tactical Rifle Supply. If you have the funds for their gear it's worth every penny. Some of the nicest Canadian made AR's come from our friends at ATRS.
The Gun Dealer. Based in Atlantic Canada they are a family owned small business. Who better than to send money to than a Mom and Pop store? We're linking you to their new firearms, but they have a selection of used AR-15 for really good prices as well (you're going to have to click once or twice to find the used ones, sorry bout that).
Halifax Army Navy Surplus. They admit their site is..... well..... lacking, but they have inventory. We'll link you to their site, but it's best to just call them at (902) 454-4330.
Easthill Outdoors. Good selection, and one of the few retailers that still has a Sig M400 Tread.
Fishing World. Their site is hard to narrow down just restricted AR rifles, so we're linking you to their Colt rifles but we hear there's more stock than that. You're just going to have to look around a bit.
Gunhub. Lots of selection of stock for sub $1000.
Hey you made it to the end, want a TLDR list of the retailers now? Maybe we do get paid by the word, maybe we get paid at all, but here you go.
