We're doing a video series of getting our Sport Ear custom active hearing protection. We've chosen to move forward with the Custom Edge 60. The hearing protection acts as a hearing aid in that it brings the lowest levels of what you can hear higher so that you can hear your surroundings better, while it also protects your hearing by compressing all noise above 85 decibel down to 85 decibel. This compression works instantly without cutting out the hearing entirely so you can still hear what's going on at the point of noise.
