We show some of the benefits and drawbacks of rifles with and without adjustable butt stocks in use with body armor. The Colt Canada C8 Integrated Upper Receiver that we use has an adjustable stock, where as the Swiss Arms Sig SG 551sp Classic Green doesn't. We shoot while wearing the Blue Force Gear Lightweight Modular Armor Carrier (LMAC) with front and back S&J Hardware AR500 armor lvl 3+ plates.

Beyond the benefits of using adjustable stocks the ultimate takeaway from this video is to train in your gear. This video was filmed in two separate range sessions which explains the weather change, and by the second session you could see that I was more comfortable manipulating the SG551 controls.
