We show sighting in and give our initial impressions of the Leupold Mark 6 1-6x20mm with CMR-W 5.56 reticle. The optic is zeroed for 200m on our Colt Canada C8 Integrated Upper Receiver, AR15 style rifle. Method of sighting used was traditional bore sighting at 25 m to align the bore and optic for a faster transition onto paper. The first focal plane optic holds true zero at all magnification levels, and is a usable reticle at 1 power. It is a true one power optic that allows for shooting with both eyes open. The illumination makes the reticle very interesting at both one power and six power magnification, and it forces you to hold your head in the same position otherwise the illumination can fade away which helps to eliminate user error.
